We carry out servicing on most makes and models of vehicles including light commercial vans. The type of service required will depend on the age and mileage of the vehicle and the manufacturers service plan. Only OE quality parts and oils are used so therefore won’t affect any manufacturers or extended warranty your vehicle may have. Unlike large franchise garages who have huge overheads you will find our costs are much lower and aim to be very competitive with all car servicing. We are a professional business and have our own stamp to keep your service history complete and upto date.
Hassle free MOT – We'll Take the Burden Away
Taking your vehicle for an MOT can be a very anxious time and knowing who to use and trust can be very confusing. Should your vehicle fail an MOT you then have to find a garage to make the necessary repairs before a re-MOT can be arranged. At Hathaway Motors we are happy to take this burden away from you. You can leave your car with us and be confident that your vehicle is in safe hands. We can inspect your vehicle prior to an MOT in order to identify anything that could contribute to the car failing the MOT test. Should any faults be found we will notify you about the fault and the costs involved. If you are satisfied we will carry out the necessary repairs, MOT the vehicle and get you back on the road

Engine Diagnostics - Mechanical & Electrical Fault Diagnosis
Vehicles are very complex machines having a huge amount of mechanical and electrical parts. There are mainly two occasions when our engine diagnostic services are required:
  • When a fault is noted by poor performance
  • When the dreaded engine management light appears***
We have high tech engine diagnostic equipment with up to date software that can check and establish the reason for your cars performance issues. Once a fault has been found our expert technicians will inform you on the results, what repairs may be needed and the costs involved. If you are happy we will only use high quality parts to repair the fault.
